Terms of Service

What Injury IQ is — and is not

Injury IQ is decision-support software for sports injury management: coded case records, evidence-graded return-to-play windows, availability boards, athlete check-ins and related tools.

It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Every clinical decision belongs to a qualified practitioner. Where a clinician's instruction differs from the software, the clinician's instruction governs.

Accounts and access

Accounts are created by Injury IQ for approved organisations. Access to each product (Sport IQ, Clinic IQ, Insurance IQ, Post-Op IQ) is granted per organisation and may carry an expiry.

You are responsible for keeping credentials private and for the actions taken under your accounts. Role-based access (coach, performance staff, medical, athlete) controls what each user sees; attempting to circumvent those controls is a breach of these terms.

Your data

Your organisation owns its data. We store it to run the service, and we do not sell it.

Clinical detail is walled by role: coaching staff receive availability and category information, never diagnosis text, severity scores or clinical notes. That separation is enforced in the software's server layer.

On request at the end of a subscription we will export your organisation's records in a portable format and then delete them, subject to legal retention obligations.

Evidence and honesty

Return-to-play figures carry the evidence tier and citation they rest on. Where no honest figure exists, the software says so rather than inventing one. These figures are decision support — not predictions, promises or directives.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on reasonable-efforts availability. We are a small team; planned maintenance and occasional interruptions will happen.

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees are not excluded), our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or the fees paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for clinical outcomes, selection decisions, or losses arising from decisions made with the software's assistance.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to the organisation's contact. Continued use after notice is acceptance.

Questions: use the contact details provided with your agreement.
